June has always been a popular time for couples to exchange their vows. With this momentous month just weeks away, many are busy preparing pre-wedding celebrations and bridal parties. Today, I’m sharing a few tips on how to put together an elegant tablescape for your bridal shower.

Intricate Centerpiece

One key factor to having a memorable tableau is a beautiful centerpiece. I love creating distinctive displays and the one I created for today’s post is no exception.

A Bridal Shower Tableau
I put together different elements to make a focal point worthy of any celebration, starting with this versatile glass cloche. Inside, I placed a two-toned crystal garland which I shaped into a flowing branch.

Ribbon butterflies on a crystal garland
Dainty butterfly bows crafted out of glitter gold ribbon add whimsy to this glittering garland, and the metallic hue works well with the champagne tone of the crystal beads. The finished product takes pride of place at the center of my table with some gold fine mesh ribbon at the base.

Refined Accents

No tablescape would be complete without the perfect accents. I added embellishments that tied in with the color palette of my centerpiece for a balanced, refined look.

Gold ribbon tied into napkin bows
Ribbons are an easy and elegant way to enhance your décor for any occasion. In this case, bronze ribbons dress up my pristine white table napkins as simple bows.

Ribbon and tulle make for an ethereal chair cover
To tie in with the butterflies in their glass dome, I paired more of the glitter gold ribbon with white tulle to create a light, ethereal cover for my chairs.

Water goblets and tablecloth to match
Continuing with the theme, the water goblets also had a touch of gold in the narrow ribbon bows tied around the stems. The tablecloth also has subtle gold tints in the shimmering polka dot pattern.

The end result is an elegant display that uses classic elements with a modern twist. For more design inspiration and a closer look at the products I used, visit Balsam Hill.
