Coming from the success of our 12 Bloggers of Christmas Campaign, excitement is definitely running high at Balsam Hill—especially with Christmas just days away. In this post, we share 10 more reasons why the holidays are extra merry for all of us here at Balsam Hill. Our high-quality products have been making rounds in the blogosphere, and we are doubly happy that they have put smiles on the faces of several décor enthusiasts and their families. Let’s look at how some designer-bloggers used Balsam Hill items to their holiday decor ideas to life.
Megan of Balancing Home gave her front porch a well-deserved makeover after seven long years, and Balsam Hill was her holiday décor of choice. Megan’s home now welcomes guests with a refreshing ensemble of Bay Laurel with Mixed Berries Foliage, featuring a wreath, garland, and topiaries. She also added touches of red using our Holiday Script Coco Welcome Mat and, Megan’s personal favorite, our Leather and Brass Belsnickel Bells.
A Tree that will Make Your Heart Sing
Jenna of Rain on a Tin Roof added a musical “red carpet” twist to a Balsam Hill Calistoga Fir Instant Evergreen™. Nashville’s Forest Home Media requested for her to decorate a Christmas tree for an auction, proceeds of which would go to Make-A-Wish of Middle Tennessee. Jenna was thrilled to be part of this endeavor and dedicated her Grammy-themed Christmas tree to 18-year old Lauren, who has Cystic Fibrosis but wished to attend the Grammy Awards night someday. Head on over to Jenna’s blog and see which Grammy award winner made the time to check out her tree and donate an award-winning album.
Cozy Winter Escape
As a complement to her rustic woodland-themed home, Alice of Thoughts from Alice opted for the Balsam Hill Frosted Fraser Fir. For its décor, she went for the bohemian glam look, combining some fringe and a garland of her vintage necklaces. For a vintage feel, Alice used some small globes, feathers, and an eye-catching tree topper she made herself.
A Modern Vintage Mix
Kelly of Eclectically Vintage created an eclectic mix with her trademark vintage look and the modern ambiance of her home. She gave her readers a peek at the Balsam Hill tree she chose for her home, which she will feature in a future blog post. She also picked a few of our mini frosted pine cone trees to use for her mantel.
A Snow-capped Favorite
As Town and Country Living’s Jennifer will show you, our flocked trees are somewhat of a favorite among designer-bloggers like her. Instead of getting an all-white tree this year like she had planned, Jennifer decided to get the mesmerizing Frosted Fraser Fir, which is just as stunning with its deep green foliage topped with wintry white faux snow. She placed the tree right by her windows so passers-by can see the tree lights during the nighttime.
The Right Angles
Number Fifty-three’s Angela focused on metallic and natural elements for her home décor this year. In true holiday spirit, she made it a point to add green accents to her overall décor. She complemented the deep green of our English Boxwood Wreath with golden tones, creating an elegantly cheerful atmosphere in her living room. She also fell in love with the “icicle effect” of our Winter Frost Jeweled Floral Sprays and placed several of them in a basket to use as a separate décor piece.
Roeshel of DIY Showoff shows us how several of Balsam Hill’s holiday décor pieces fit together to create a unique centerpiece that will leave your guests in awe. With imagination her only limit and our Mixed Evergreen with Pine Cones Pre-lit Teardrop, Wood Tabletop Reindeer Set, and Brown Glen Plaid Ribbon as her instruments, she creates a wonderful display that showcases her creativity and our décor’s best features.
Quaint Holiday Charm
If you dream of Christmas in the countryside, look no further than Top This, Top That. Blogger and designer Laura is a city girl turned country gal who lives on a North East Georgia farm she and her husband built from the ground up. Though in a rural area, she makes sure to put in an equal amount of attention to her home’s upkeep and its décor. She incorporates some Balsam Hill décor items into her collection of holiday decorations she has acquired through the years.
For Jen of City Farmhouse, Christmas is the perfect time to commemorate past traditions and connect with memories of Christmases past. Jen brings out the playful side of Balsam Hill décor with her own take on a woodland-themed holiday. The galvanized tub used as the Vermont White Spruce™ Tree’s base is a nice touch and adds some elevation, making the tree the undeniable center of attention.
Finally, we have Jenna of Jenna Burger Design, who wanted to surround herself and her family with natural elements and the things they love the most. This year two of their most loved things for the holidays were Balsam Hill’s Magnolia Leaf Garland and our exclusive Color+Clear™ lighting system. Jenna’s eye for design allowed her to mix and match a variety of elements without overwhelming the senses.
We at Balsam Hill are overjoyed by all the love we have received from the blogosphere’s prominent designers and décor enthusiasts. We hope that our holiday décor collections inspire you to continually push the bar when it comes to fullfiling holiday decor ideas and concepts. We wish you all the best this holiday season.
Thanks so much for featuring my snow-capped tree! I absolutely love your Frosted Fraser Fir!
