Christmas is such a magical time of year and it is definitely one of my favorites. With all the twinkling lights & glowing trees all around, it seems as if it is the season where fairytale dreams come true. And for those brides-to-be who are planning a wedding during the holiday season, all of that beautiful Christmas magic becomes part of the fairytale setting and occasion.
With a wedding table, elegance comes to mind right away of course and my go-to choice for classic elegance is a simple gold-rimmed white china. White dishes are always a perfect choice and they can be dressed up or down depending on the look you are going for.
A collection of glittered pinecones, glass baubles, and elegant finials in gorgeous shades of champagne, frosted blues, and platinum were a perfect choice for Christmas wedding inspired table.
For an easy Christmas table centerpiece, start with a lighted Christmas garland. I used the Fraser Fir battery operated LED garland on the center of the table. Since it is battery operated – no worries about cords or outlets – which makes it a fantastic choice for tables, mantels and around doors where you don’t want to see cords or run the risk of tripping on them.
A few battery operated LED candles – which actually flicker just like real candles – and just a few glittered pinecones and ornaments was all that the centerpiece needed.
Inspiration doesn’t stop at the table of course – so think about what is just beyond the table. A beautiful Christmas tree glowing just beyond the table is a perfect backdrop.
This is the Frosted Fraser Fir which is a huge favorite of mine. With a light layer of flocking, the frosty look is perfection in my book and by keeping the decorations simple, the tree compliments the setting without taking center stage.
On the mantel, a gathering of flickering LED candles and garland are a perfect finishing touch to complete the setting.
