Beyond realistic trees and beautiful holiday decorations, Balsam Hill aims to make the Yuletide season more meaningful by bringing Christmas cheer to those in need. This year, we are happy to partner with three charity organizations, namely Point Hope, World Vision, and Operation Smile.
A feature on each will be published on our social media channels, where every like, share, or comment merits a $0.50 donation to that non-profit organization. This begins today, December 5, and will run until Christmas Day, December 25. Read on to know more about these worthwhile charities.
Point Hope is an association built to raise awareness and champion the cause for forgotten children. They aim to ensure that each child under their care grows up in a loving and nurturing environment and lives a safe and happy life. They have been involved and are continuing numerous refugee work in West Africa and are focusing on improving the lives of foster children in the U.S.
World Vision seeks to facilitate an engagement between the poor and the affluent, opening both parties to a change that is beneficial to themselves and to the well-being of the community. They aim to improve the lives of those in need by linking them to those willing to help around the globe. With their quest for justice, peace, reconciliation, and healing, they make the world a better place to live in.
Operation Smile is one of the oldest and largest charity organizations built to improve the lives of its beneficiaries by giving them free access to medical care. They are focused on providing surgeries to children and young adults born with facial deformities. With their vision, they are able to put smiles on the faces of kids in over 60 countries around the world.
Celebrate the true spirit of the holidays and join us in giving a special Christmas to a child in need. Visit Balsam Hill’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages to find out how you can be a part of this movement.
