A Springtime Prelude Round-Up: Week 1

With the arrival of the new season comes Balsam Hill’s new line of spring florals. Our brand ambassador, Courtney of French Country Cottage and 10 of our partners are introducing their favorite artificial floral arrangements from our collection in a special blog hop.

Courtney believes that flowers give rooms a fully-furnished feel, and Balsam Hill’s faux blooms accomplished this beautifully. Our Viola Arrangement and  Violetta Flower Arrangement provided soft contrasts to the vintage elements of Courtney’s French country-style kitchen. She recommends the White Tulips and Ranunculus Arrangement for those looking for something simple and inexpensive. One of Courtney’s favorites is the Jane Mixed Flower Arrangement, whose pastel colors blended perfectly with her bedside ensemble.

Danielle spruced up various areas of her New England home with a variety of faux florals. Two wreaths, one with faux roses and another with coastal succulents, livened up the cupboard wall and the fireplace mantel. Danielle chose a classic white Dutch Tulip Flower Arrangement as the focal point of her dining room, while an English Garden Rose Arrangement provided a centerpiece on a coffee table in her living room.

Balsam Hill’s exclusive English Garden Wreath was a timely springtime treat for Liz, who has been looking forward to the end of winter. The pastel flowers added a soft touch to her farmhouse-style dining room. Hydrangeas and roses on the wreath and the plant box stood out against the aged wood of Liz’ table.

Lucy’s dining decoration involved subtle but effective color coordination. She matched the blue delphiniums of our Viola Flower Arrangement with eggs she hand-painted a light teal. Table napkins printed with bands of peach complemented the tones of the Jane Mixed Flower Arrangement. She also added fresh blooms to the scene for variety.

Kim welcomed spring into her home by decorating with our Provencal Lavender Wreath and Garlands. She emphasized the versatility of foliage and how it can be draped on walls, across mantels, on stair banisters and window treatments. Kim placed a bowl of fruit, cheese, and wafers on her buffet table and surrounded it with lavender sprigs—a spread that aptly represented the abundance of spring.

Emily placed a Spring Poppy Flower Wreath on her fireplace mantel. She took inspiration from its bright orange, yellow, and red colors to decorate her living room in a Hawaiian theme, and matched it with a Ranunculus & Hops Flower Arrangement. She chose an Orchid Snowball Arrangement as a dining room centerpiece, and placed a Provencal Lavender Wreath on her cottage door, remarking on the realism of both florals.

That concludes week 1 of A Springtime Prelude: Balsam Hill’s Florals Blog Hop. We hope to see you during week 2, which showcases more blooms featured by our partners on the following dates:
