Thanks to the talents of our Brand Ambassador Courtney and four blogger partners, we’ve enjoyed a decorating journey across different continents and cities. With Balsam Hill home décor, florals, and topiaries, they styled their homes after the distinct looks of four locales: the Southern United States (Blooms of the Peninsula), France (Parisian Countryside), Italy (Treasures of Tuscany), and California (Sunshine Harvest).
We invite you to revisit their beautiful homes of these stylists, as we conclude this inspiring decorating tour.
Courtney of French Country Cottage – A World Tour at Home
Courtney kicked off the Around the World blog tour by visiting every décor destination on our itinerary. Her first stop was Paris, where she relished the realistic beauty of rose tree topiaries, which featured a mix of blossoms in varying degrees of bloom. She placed a magnolia wreath on her door for Southern charm. Outside, she displayed a Tuscan-inspired spread of appetizers on a wine barrel lazy susan along with a beautiful cheese knife set. She decorated her fireplace mantel with fairy light string cloches, which reminded her of city lights around the world.
Alma of Almafied – Blooms of the Peninsula (Southern United States)
The pristine beauty of magnolias helped refresh Alma’s dining room as she transitioned her home from summer to fall. Alma found the blooms on the wreath so realistic that she had to smell the leaves to confirm they were faux. The silhouette of her potted tree was beautifully framed by bright white window curtains while a scent diffuser filled the air with the fragrance of magnolias.
Cristen of the Nap Time Reviewer – Parisian Countryside
Cristen’s home was a picture of French flair—with potted and arranged roses, and thoughtfully-placed accents. The neutral tones of the florals mixed well with the natural textures of the wooden furniture. Her entryway was decorated with a Diana Rose Wreath and the receiving area was spruced with a French staghead pillow. To play up the look, she placed her electronic scent diffuser in an antique cage cloche.
Sara of Sincerely, Sara D. – Treasures of Tuscany
Sara infused the romance of Italy into her home by displaying our Campania Olive Topiaries. A large topiary was displayed beside an antique piano while a pair of smaller ones were arranged on the kitchen tabletop. She said that they were perfect for adding warmth to her serving area. A Peach Rose Floral Arrangement served as a colorful coffee table centerpiece in her living room.
Marian of Miss Mustard Seed – Sunshine Harvest
Marian celebrated the final days of the Minnesota summer by decorating with vibrant, harvest season colors. A large Potted Meyer Lemon Tree brightened her workspace while a smaller one freshened up her vintage cupboard. She served cold lemonade in Stemless Etched Wine Glasses alongside flowers and lemons displayed on a wine barrel lazy susan. A Scents of the Season machine—cleverly hidden in an old tote—diffused a relaxing citrus scent throughout the house.
