For Mother’s Day, we invited Linda to share her thoughts about her mother:

Linda's mom and dad

Describe your mom in 3 words.

Loving, caring, and giving

Describe what your mom means to you in one sentence.

My mom is a best friend, my biggest cheerleader, loves me unconditionally, and makes me laugh…I’ve been blessed beyond words to have had her as my mother.

What’s your favorite activity to do with your mom?

Since my mother lives across the country from me, just being together is my favorite activity with her.

What are you most grateful to your mother for?
I always felt loved and safe growing up, and she always made me feel like I could do whatever I set my mind to. She has taught me how to be a good mother and grandmother for my own children and grandchildren.

What’s your favorite way to show your mom that you care?

Calling and talking about our days.

Are there small things your mom does for you that lets you know she cares?

She often calls me just to hear my voice, and to see how I’m doing. She has surprised me with small gifts that she knows will mean a lot to me.
