A wedding in autumn brings to mind rich colors combined with soft romantic touches. Jewel tones like aubergines, golds, greens, and of course, that mingling of sage and pale pink to bring that bit of romance.
One of my favorite settings for a beautiful and inspired table is outdoors. I love an elegant table out under the stars. With a rustic wood plank top beneath the beautiful gilded china and gold flatware, and an abundance of greenery marching down the center — perfection.
Here’s an easy way to create a centerpiece so gorgeous and elegant, your friends and family will think you are amazing. With just 3 things. Yes, that is it.
I started with the Balsam Hill Magnolia Garland. I have a huge crush on magnolia leaves — brown on one side, glossy green on the other. This garland is so lifelike, it is absolutely gorgeous in person.
Tip: For more of the brown than the green, simply flip the garland over and re-fluff the leaves to cover.
Up next, simply add a few fresh touches like eucalyptus leaves and roses to customize. You can use whatever color or type of flowers you would like. There are no rules other than to do what you love and have fun.
To attach, simply use a floral wire to tie the blooms to your garland.
Tip: Remember to either attach the flowers just prior to the event or, if you need to put this together earlier, ask your florist for small tubes of water so your blooms won’t wilt too quickly.
You don’t need to add much to make this garland absolutely perfect for an autumn wedding table runner. And the best part is that you can re-use your magnolia garland again and again for autumn, Christmas, or anything else you would like.
