Christmas Wreaths
A Christmas wreath is the easiest way to decorate your door for Christmas. Pre-decorated wreaths are readily available in stores but you can also do it yourself. Below are some ideas for a DIY wreath.
- Mixed greens are usually made of pine, grapevine, and various leaves combined with pinecones, assorted seasonal flowers and fruits. To create a traditional fruit-and-greenery wreath, add several dried pomegranates or berries.
- Attach Christmas cards, gift cards, or photos to create a personalized wreath. You may also use old neckties, handkerchiefs, or scarves.
- Try making a sugar-coated fruit wreath made of assorted artificial fruits such as pears, oranges, lemons and apples.
In last year’s Insider Showcase tree lot event, our brand ambassador, Courtney of French Country Cottage and acclaimed floral designer, Brad Schmidt showed us how to spruce up a wreath. Watch the demo in this Facebook live video.

Red and Green Ornaments
Red and green are classic Christmas colors, and you can achieve that look by simply adding red and green ornaments to your front door. You may use a huge crimson bow, a Santa figurine or cranberries as accents to a verdant wreath.

White Christmas
Grapevine, twigs, and pinecones may be turned into wintry Christmas pieces by sprinkling them with faux snowflakes. You can also spray white paint on the ornaments to add a snowy effect. If you do not have spray paint, you can lightly dust them with Epsom salt or white and silver glitter.

With a bit of ingenuity and creativity, you can charm your guests as you greet them or see them off in your beautifully decorated doorway.
