Balsam Hill Tastemakers 2016: Melaine of My Sweet Savannah

Melaine first worked with Balsam Hill during the 12 Bloggers of Christmas 2014 campaign, where she used our Frosted Fraser Fir as the background for her beautiful, handmade deer ornaments. She added a rustic touch to her decor by using a galvanized bucket where she put the tree in.

This year, Melaine opted to adorn her tree with our Snowhaven Glass Ornament Set.

When asked about what her essential holiday decorating tip is, Melaine shared, “My essential decorating tip is to include family heirlooms. These don’t need to be fancy or precious breakable items. They can be anything with a memory attached, like a handmade ornament, or a child’s piece of framed art. It’s fun to add new ornaments and details to your holiday decorating every year. But we can’t forget to incorporate items with special meaning.”
