As the Yuletide season drew to a close last year, Balsam Hill spread the Christmas spirit to another well-loved event. Last November 2, 2016, our majestic trees graced the stage of the much-anticipated CMA Country Christmas.
CMA Country Christmas was held in the Grand Ole Opry at Nashville, Tennessee. We were honored to decorate the grand stage with the Balsam Hill trees and ornaments that customers have loved and admired through the years.
The Balsam Hill team, together with CMA and the Grand Ole Opry crew, were very hands on with putting up our evergreens, that it only took them a week to complete the arrangement. Our trees’ easy set up features enabled them to achieve the desired over-all look within this short timeframe despite the massive scale of this project.
We used the following trees to recreate the look of a woodland forest wonder on stage: Rockefeller Pines, California Baby Redwoods, Red Spruce Slims, and the Sonoma Slim Pencil trees. To complete the design, we adorned each display with our selection of handcrafted ornaments. The trees placed towards the front of the stage were embellished with our Nordic Frost set for a touch of Scandinavian inspiration, and with our Red, White and Sparkle set, for a burst of traditional red and silver tones. Other décor items were used all throughout.
It was Balsam Hill’s first time to be a part of this momentous musical event and CMA’s event producers and set designers were very pleased with the turnout. They have expressed their interest in a continued partnership, and we couldn’t be happier to join them again this year.
