As the COVID-19 crisis unfolds, organizations big and small must choose their response to the epidemic. We at Balsam Brands take inspiration from our core values in launching initiatives to “share joy” and “do the right thing” for our customers and communities.
Balsam Provisions
Right now there’s a serious need in the United States for food staples to be delivered, especially for those who are at-risk and cannot go out to buy on their own.” —Thomas Harman, Founder of Balsam Brands
We’re using our warehouse and distribution systems to ship non-perishable staple foods and essential household goods for those in need. Items are available on the Balsam Hill site and follow the same order process. Any profits from Balsam Provisions sales will be donated to food banks including our partners at The Idaho Foodbank, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.

#LightsForLife
At Balsam Hill, we’re continuing to look for ways to help others and share joy… Many of us have joined the growing movement of putting up Christmas lights outside and inside our homes to share hope and good cheer.”
Together, let’s uplift the spirits of our community at this difficult time. Decorate your home with Christmas lights and join us in spreading joy to others. Post your photos on social media with #ShareJoy and #LightsForLife hashtags.
Community Support
I’m grateful to see so many people looking for ways to support those who are most impacted. One way is to support our medical professionals… many need help in caring for their own families and households.”
Recently, Balsam Brands’ Manila team donated N95 masks and alcohol supplies to the Lung Center of the Philippines. These will protect medical frontliners as they care for patients affected by COVID-19.
We’re taking care of our Balsam Hill team members, so they’re available to take care of you.”
As an example of community spirit, our Manila team implemented Project #PagBByanihan. Team members received a month’s worth of groceries to help lessen the need to go out during the community quarantine.
We will continue to come up with thoughtful ways to help as we face this unprecedented crisis together. Stay tuned for updates on this page. In the meantime, we hope that you keep safe and stay well.
