We also love it when you put personal touches on your décor to create spaces and designs that are truly your own. This season, we’re excited to be collaborating with Cricut in a special campaign that demonstrates the many creative ways you can enhance your holiday home with handmade decorations.
What is Cricut?
Cricut is a home die-cutting machine that allows you to produce cut-outs in a variety of shapes and designs. This amazingly versatile tool lets you work with over 60 materials, including washi sheets, craft foam, vinyl, leather, card stock, and vellum. Cricut machines are easy to use and open up a wealth of possibilities when it comes to crafting and creating DIY projects, such as invitations, scrap books, jewelry, and decals.
What’s in Store
Cricut’s very own Design Team put together enchanting holiday vignettes using Balsam Hill décor and custom items made with Cricut machines. The images you see here are just a glimpse of the gorgeous scenes that they will reveal on their site.
Along with the Design Team, nine of our favorite bloggers will be showcasing their stunning handmade holiday projects on their respective blogs over the next few weeks.
For this campaign, we asked our designers and bloggers to work with 4 different color palette themes, each one featuring a specific Balsam Hill ornament set: the Crystal Palace Set in muted gray and silver metallic tones, the Napa Jewel Set in shimmering plum and gold hues, our cheery Red, White and Sparkle ornaments, and the Mistletoe and Holly set with its classic Yuletide colors. The bloggers will be challenged to complete their palettes with another color, using their Cricut machine: blue for Crystal Palace, cream for Napa Jewel, green for Red, White, and Sparkle, and black for Mistletoe and Holly.
