As our “A Charitable December” campaign draws to a close, we’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to its success. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support and participation of our friends, followers, and partners.
To recap, Balsam Hill featured three organizations through Facebook posts during the first three weeks of December. Each like, love, and wow made on a campaign post was worth $0.25, while a comment and share were worth $0.50 each.
The campaign is on its final week, but you still have the chance to spread more joy this season. Comment the name of your chosen charity on the last campaign post, or this blog post, to add another $1.00 contribution.
At the end of the campaign, Balsam Hill will tally all engagements for each charity and match every cent with a corresponding donation. Donation amounts will go directly to support the meaningful work of our partners:
American Cancer Society
For this campaign, singer Tony Bennett helped promote the American Cancer Society. Its programs include funding and conducting cancer research, as well as providing support for patients and survivors.
Reba’s Ranch House
Reba’s Ranch House in Texas was promoted by its founder, singer Reba McEntire, during the campaign. Funds raised will benefit more families of patients in local hospitals who need a close and convenient place to stay to be near their loved ones.
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt
Singer Brett Eldredge joined in promoting Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital for this campaign. As a leading pediatric hospital, its medical team provides quality health care for children, as well as conducts research to cure and prevent childhood diseases.
This week, simply comment to make a positive difference for our partner charities and help celebrate the season of giving.
