Balsam Hill Light Up the Night Wrap-up
Our Light Up The Night Summer Housewalk has officially ended after almost two weeks of inspired creative collaboration. We would like to thank our bloggers for creating and sharing their beautiful designs with their fans and followers. Join us as we take a look back at these sparkling spaces that light up summer nights with a warm, welcoming glow.
Courtney of French Country Cottage kicked off the blog hop with a beautiful garden set up. She paired Miracle Flame LED Candles with our Candela Crossbar Lanterns to add a subtle glow that is both safe and convenient for her backyard. Together, she placed them in strategic spots that would encourage guests to do a little bit of exploring. She also took advantage of the balmy weather to make use of the Copper Fire Pit, turning the evening into a fun gathering with family and friends.
Emily of Table and Hearth created a rustic tablescape with a charming coastal flair for her back patio. Her table was decorated using our Eucalyptus Foliage, which she chose to artfully intertwine with our Fairy String Lights to create focal points that radiated a warm glow. To finish the look, she added beautiful candle holders and realistic candles, as well as some whimsical tableware in various marine life designs.
Tara shared her simple yet elegant tablescape on her blog, Lehman Lane. She shaped and put two strands of our Fairy String Lights inside a glass cloche, and placed it on top of our Boxwood Square Wreath. Together, the pieces created a cheery and distinctive centerpiece for her outdoor table, ideal for a wine and cheese night with her friends.
Joan of For The Love Of A House created a cozy atmosphere outdoors, perfect for spending a lovely evening with her partner. She used our Copper and Cast Metal fire pit for warmth, and put our Single Ball Boxwood Topiary and Villa Urn Planter together, placing them on a gorgeous barn wood and iron table. Charming votives were hung under her garden umbrella to complete the inviting and romantic look.
Emily shared a unique way to use our Fairy String Lights on her blog, Our House Now A Home. She intertwined a set of these lights around a metal globe, which she then placed on top of a small foliage base. Using nautical-themed throw pillows and blankets, Emily created a Southern Californian look for her backyard. To complete the look, she hung our Boxwood Square Wreath on a nearby window, its glow a beautiful radiance in dusk’s low light.
Reminiscing about her fondest childhood memories, Mary Beth of Cupcakes And Crinoline designed her backyard to exude the friendly atmosphere of camping during summertime. Since campfires are not allowed in her neighborhood, she used our Flameless Outdoor Candles and placed them inside our Candela Crossbar Lanterns to safely light up her garden. The refined Single Ball Boxwood Topiary also added its own radiance to the evening, for even more festive cheer.
Christy of 11 Magnolia Lane created a simple yet welcoming setup for her patio. She wove our Fairy String Lights through the cut-outs of her wood serving tray to add a casual charm that is ideal for laidback nights. Using striped green and white ribbons that complemented the throw pillows and other accents, she also hung our Boxwood Square Wreaths on the French doors that lead to her bedroom.
Jenn of My Fabuless Life came up with a tablescape that was perfect for a casual girls’ night. Our faux Eucalyptus Wreath was placed around a wooden block that was used as a platform for jars in different shapes and sizes. Each jar held flowers and greenery in varying hues. Jenn used metal candle holders and shaped our Fairy String Lights inside them to add twinkling lights to her table setting.
Opting to decorate her front stoop, April of House By Hoff put together a welcoming ambiance by placing our Eucalyptus Wreath on her front door. She wrapped it with our Fairy String Lights for a soft glow. She also used our Boxwood Topiaries and placed one on each side of her doorstep for an appealing symmetric look that is both welcoming and cheery.
Sarah of Homeology Modern Vintage took on the challenge and designed her summer deck to exude a relaxing ambiance. She wrapped our Boxwood Square Wreaths with our Fairy String Lights, and hung them up her windows. By placing miniature plants on her outdoor coffee table, she created a contemporary yet classic look that fit in well with the theme.
Wrapping up our housewalk is Rhoda from Southern Hospitality. She created a beautiful set up in her new patio using a color palette of light green and khaki brown. Our Copper and Cast Metal fire pit was used as a centerpiece, and tied all elements together. Our Boxwood Topiary was also placed on top of our Light Grey Classic Urn and positioned beside the patio furniture for added detail.
